The Allies victory over the Axis powers was due to dozens of circumstances that led to the end of the war, however i feel there are three main reasons WWII ended as it did. The first being The production of supplies the US was able to manufacture during the war. They were able to supply not only themselves but the Soviet and British armies as well. The second reason was the extrodinary job the Soviet army did to not only stop the German assult eastward but to actually push them back. One stat about WWII you dont hear that often is how nine million Soviet soldiers died compared to the 385,576 that The US and British armies lost combined. The last reason that led to the Allied victory was Japan's decision to attack pearl harbor and not offer assistance to germany in taking over Europe. The US was reluctant to enter the war untill that december day and Germany was unable to defeat Soviet, British, and US forces all by themselves.

1. The US people shared a strong opnion of isolationism not wanting to get involved in international disputes but Japan forced America into war with Pearl Harbor, What could have changed if Japan had not bombed Pearl Harbor, might of America stayed out of the war too long and maybe to late to help the Soviets and the British
2. At the begining of the war Germany and the Soviet Union made a peace treaty to not attack each other, which Germany would eventually break. Could the US and British forces have defeated Germany without the help of the Soviet army.
